HPE Outsourcing Leads the Way in Customer Satisfaction

HPE Outsourcing tops the table in Temkin Group Overall Product and Satisfaction ratings from 800 IT decision makers.

Temkin Group has published a data snapshot, Tech Vendors: Product and Relationship Satisfaction of IT Clients, 2017 taken from  a Q3 2016 survey of 800 IT decision-makers from companies with at least $250 million in annual revenues. The research covers 62 different tech vendors and examines eight areas of satisfaction; four that deal with products & services and four that examine relationships.

At the top of the ratings, six tech vendors earned average satisfaction levels of 70% or more across the eight areas:  HPE outsourcing (76%), Google (75%), IBM SPSS (75%), IBM software (73%), IBM outsourcing (70%), and Dell outsourcing (70%).

The average satisfaction rating is 61%, the same level as last year. Of the eight criteria looked at, product/service ease of use and features increased the most, each going up by about two percentage-points since last year. Innovation declined the least, dropping by two percentage-points.

HPE outsourcing earned the highest scores in four out of the eight areas surveyed; Product/service satisfaction: Features (79%), Relationship satisfaction: Account team support (79%), Total cost of ownership: (79%) and Innovation: (84%)
